The original 18” x 24” Stuart Water Tower watercolor on 140 lb. paper is part of the small-town landmark series of paintings I started during the virus lockdown. It was painted in February 2021. Prints on 100lb. matte poster paper are available for $35 each plus shipping. The city of Stuart FL constructed this 250,000 gal. tank in 1959. The American flag was added as a suggestion by the Martin County High School bi-centennial class of 1976 and since then has been a landmark and historical symbol of the downtown area in Stuart. In 2017 it was nominated for Tank of The Year in a competition.
