The museum was created in 1988 when the City of Stuart purchased the Stuart Feed Store building on Flagler Avenue to help preserve the heritage, artifacts and history of Stuart and its surrounding communities. Built by Mr. Parks in 1901 he used the second floor as his home and the store downstairs offered household items from furniture to washboards and butter churners to baby chicks, rabbits, and feed for farm animals. 11" x 14" PRINTS available $25
