Pointing south, a weather vane topped with a galloping horse tilts slightly during a breezy evening. Silhouettes of gnarled and leaning trees accentuate the suggestion of time and place and their presence in it. After painting 'Riding the Wind' an old saying came to mind, which does not directly relate to the description, but I feel important to add-'You can move to the north. You can move to the south, but you can never move away from yourself.'
