I am a self-taught artist. I live in Arcadia, Indiana, a small village/town in northern Hamilton County. I have been painting seriously since my retirement in 2002. Experimentation, research, study and practice are my basic tools. I have exhibited my work locally in both art festival environments and in local venues as well. I have sold my work in the US, Canada, Europe and Japan. A number of my earlier work, mostly Asian influenced, are in private collections.
In the last few years, I have become smitten with Modernism, Expressionism and Cubism. Clearly Eearly 20th Century Modernist art is still relevant today. I love both the artistry and craftsmanship of this era. It is not only beautiful but meaningful as well.
