ARTIST STATEMENT
We all see things differently. What we perceive as reality is really determined by many different factors. These include our self-image, physical makeup, background, religion and ethnicity. The people, places, and things we have encountered during the course of our lives also have a profound effect on how we interpret what we see.
As an artist, I am fortunate to be able to put on canvas, my perceptions of the world. I present to the viewer, familiar things, filtered through the unique experiences of my life. I make no attempt or pretense to be objective, my work is a subjective statement and reflects
