About Charles Carter Artist

I paint in a style that is reminiscent of the turn of the century post impressionists, Modigliani, Leger, Rivera, an Moya,

I was trained as an architect and apply the same discipline to my work that was embedded in my being from the exacting expectations of a client in the architectural realm.

My work is colorful abstract but identifiable with the real world, and subtly rife with whimsy.

I consider myself as an impasto painter that utilizes glazing techniques and never shy with color.
