When I paint, I listen to my playlist "Oil Painting Songs for Myself" on youtube. While painting, I feel as if my music attracts the spirits of Native Americans. I feel as if they're standing behind me and are watching me paint; looking over shoulders. I also feel as artists from Olden Times are also watching. I don't use tricks or computers. I feel it would be a dishonor to myself and to artists of our past. I take my brush paint directly onto my canvas. I believe with today's technology, the Old Ways are dying out and the artists of tomorrow are not like artists of the past. We are a dying breed. As stated, I do not use any computer tricks, projectors; I only use oils, brushes, a good light, and canvas...
