French Escapism is an art genre based on the early developments initiated by the camera in the 1800s in France. Using Monet's example of studying the rich and the entitled on vacation in northern France during his honeymoon, French Escapism documents the fictional life of the peaceful inhabitants of the Dopaquel Peninsula, an imaginary land of sunshine, sailboats, peacock trees and peopled by wild horses and ladies and gentlemen.
