Once Again Once in a while I get that itchy feeling again that makes me want to turn to roundism. The last one by that title I made half a year ago. In between lie an odd couple of Geesje Kwak and Risque drawings. After the aforemeant last one I thought I was through with that style. Never say never again is what I experience as an artist though, over and over again. Now I see that the only thing that I have to do is to let it go sometimes. Do something else instead. Thinking and planning in series made me force to abandon a succesful style or series, in order to grow. Who knows what the tide may bring after a while. A Smashing Picture The love for textures in kimono’s (Geesje) and fur (Risque) has brought me to new insights. That was when I saw this incredible 1930s picture drifting by all of a sudden It seemed the opportunity was too good to let it pass by. Just like last time I didn’t catch the photographer’s name.
