Lost Arts.....I work with wood, stone, glass, leather and metal. I use many "Olde World" techniques. I am self-taught and i have been working in these materials for more than fifty years. I enjoy working with wood the most. I love the smell and the way it feels after a good sanding. In the 70's I worked for 2 companies making waterbed frames and bedroom furniture. I also have made over 200 dog houses with dog's name on each one. If you have seen dining room furniture with a claw grabbing a ball, well I made too many of those. Woodworking has paid a lot of my bills. I have built and sailed 6 boats. First 3 were all wood. And the very first one was stolen. Coast Guard found it 5 years later.
