Marmalade Wednesday is a self portrait of some sort I suppose. Unknowningly I end up painting pieces of myself in everything I create. Marmalade depicts a piece of my life where I felt the world around me coming to life with wonders beyong my wildest dreams asking me to explore- and I wasnt ready to dive in. I was scared of leaving the security of normalcy. I liked being tender and innocent I wasnt embracing my darkness. Becoming stuck in the femenine of staying still drowning in emotion. I love this piece. This girl. With all my heart. Thank you Marmalade.
