Far beyond the maps, where forgotten lands drift through sleep, there is a place that appears only in dreams. Water falls silently from cliffs of time and stone, feeding forests of pale mushrooms below. Strange creatures dwell within this dreaming form, peering from cracks and chambers that have grown around them over centuries. No one knows whether they shaped her, or whether she dreamed them into being. At night, when the mist begins to rise, the DreamMother slowly closes her eyes. The waterfalls soften, the mushrooms begin to glow, and every creature becomes still. For they know that when the Mother sleeps, another world begins to dream.
