The skies darken over Jerusalem as John tries to console Mary after the Roman soldier uses his spear to confirm the death of our Savior. The soldier looks bewildered as he wipes the blood from his cheek. All this as terrible as it was had to happen as part of God’s plan so that we mighthave eternal life. Original oil on canvas was donated to my church. I have prints on my website.
