this was the fastest piece I've ever done. i believe it only took me around 2 hours to do, granted, it was a test piece for my new pastels, i was learning to focus on shapes and volume more than paint in actual color. the pastels I used had more of a rubbery waxy texture than what I've been used too, but they covered so much area quicker than I had thought posable.
