This painting was inspired by a gentleman sitting at a nearby lake fishing with his dog. The compositing and colors were changed to make for a more dramatic scene. This scene reminds me of the missed opportunity of fishing with my dad. This piece was executed with pallet knife and brush to create the texture I wanted in this piece. All canvas edges are painted black and ready to hang. Not framed.
