Photography, Giclee Printing on Paper - Cotton 2019 Biafarin Artwork Code: AW127109424 This is a high-magnification photograph of the Orchid 'Phalaenopsis', taken in natural light, without manipulation. It is presented as a Framed, Single-Edition Giclée Print. While scanning seemingly random images that are abstract and arbitrary I capture only those that have instantaneous appeal. Images expressing the concept of 'Nurture' are particularly attractive to me. Such images occur quite often, which must have something to do with the nature of the flowers I study. So here the metaphor is 'Nurture' - something is being looked after and nourished, with affection. This is the second such image in a series of three.
